he is a hero you're going to either love or hate

First,i had read the ph version of this, which is in tagalog-english....upon knowing that they're going to published a full english version. I was a bit skeptical if they can pull it off;-),since tagalog novel writing style in my own opinion is somewhat different as compared to international english novels writing style...and since this is her transition phase my hopes are not that so high..hehhehehe but DAMN to the moon and back!!!KAT MADRID really took it to the next level...Lonzo oh lonzo!!he is a hero you're going to either love or hate...he is just so full of himself but in a cute-alpha male-don't- mess-with-me-or-u're-dead way that for me, makes me love him more.hehheheheh....his jealous side is just so endearing.:-D..my heart goes out to the young Lonzo too..:-(...Jordana on the other side, I find her so feisty!!..a challenge to Lonzo. i so love their verbal sparing!! I want to cheer and say Go jordana!Go Go jordana Go!lol..i just wish she was a bit more loose or a little humor to her personality perhaps won't hurt but non the less i love her!!she got spunk! And most of all what i love about this book is the fact that its hotter than hot!!Lonzo is the man!!hehheheh...so here's my rate for this one hot sizzling romance!!

Lonzo grew on me! Jordana was amazing! Really great read.

It' not a secret that I love Billionaire Romances and also romances where the hero has always vowed he'd never fall in love but then that one feisty woman comes along and knocks him for a loop. This story had both of those elements and I was very excited about jumping in.

Lonzo and Jordana without knowing how it happened wake up in bed together. Jordana has her "v" card in place still at this point in her life but only because she's never felt the real passion that she wanted to feel when surrendering that special part of herself. Quickly passion ignites between two strangers and then the games begin.

The dust settles and these two retreat two their corners. What transpires is a battle of wills. I loved Jordana and felt she was just the most genuine character and such a compassionate soul. I wanted to just applaud so many times when she put Lonzo in his place.

I found that Lonzo really had to grow on me. He was over the top with his views of how women should be treated. He had no respect for them at all. I actually wanted to junk punch him a time or two over the way he acted.

"It takes more than a cherry to make me cough up a wedding ring"

But slowly I started seeing this turmoil inside of him.With how he interacted with his uncle, trying to be all tough and stubborn but loyal and caring all at the same time. He didn't have a clue what was happening to his heart. I started feeling kinda sorry for him. It's like he never was taught how to love ..and was taught from an early age that women use and women leave. So after that I realized I need to cut him some slack. Just a little.

I really started enjoying the banter between Jordana and Lonzo at this point. This is the first installment of this series and there wasn't much of a relationship between the two by the end. Just a few explosive sexual encounters. They still don't know each other at all by the end. A few cracks had started forming in their armor though. This I enjoyed with bated breath.

God, he was addicted to her taste—like summer peaches and honey.

So f**ucking sweet and potent at the same time, it sent his head spinning.

I look forward to finding out how things will change once they actually start spending real time together. This was a hot and sexy erotic read with some pretty strong willed characters. I really want to see more of this passionate couple and hope to see them fall in love..after the lust settles.

Lonzo Vitale is a gorgeous specimen. It's very hard not to like his drop dead ravishing looks. He can just be snotty sometimes. But hey, it's part of his delicious appeal. This book is just scorching hot, I felt like a lovesick puppy reading it. 5 stars! read it, you won't regret. -- JB

By uncovering the historical roots of the British re-ordering of South Asian discourses, Yelle's work challenges representations of colonialism, and the modernity that it ushered in, as simply rational or secular.

About the Author

Robert A. Yelle is Assistant Professor in the Department of History and the Helen Hardin Honors Program at the University of Memphis. He received a Ph.D. in the History of Religions from the University of Chicago. What philosophers of mind and cognitive scientists can contribute to the growing interdiscipline are insights into how the biosemiotic weltanschauung applies to complex organisms like humans where such signs and sign processes constitute human society and culture.

The purpose of this volume is to gather together a sampling of contemporary thinking on when, why, and how mindedness evolved in the natural world from researchers working in the biological, cognitive, and medical sciences. The question of the origin of mind is no longer the exclusive domain of philosophers; it has, in recent decades, become a respectable question for research scientists to work on as well.

The volume’s contents are pluralistic. One element that most of the chapters in the volume have in common is in their adherence to the principle that the phenomenon of mindedness, including the peculiarities of human mindedness, is a biological phenomenon. Fully represented in this volume are thoughts, ideas, and theories that contribute to our naturalistic understanding of mindedness that address its biological origins and evolutionary development. The volume is divided into five sections devoted to the sub-topics of: biosemiotics theories of mindedness, the evolution of mental representation in humans, the evolution of various aspects of consciousness, problems in philosophy of mind, and simulation approaches to understanding human intelligence.
